Food insecurity, or the lack of accessibility to enough food to lead a healthy lifestyle, is a pervasive issue that can have disastrous consequences on families and children. Nourish America partners with food banks to donate organic and allergy-friendly foods and provides direct food assistance to thousands of people across the United States. We go beyond direct action to advocate for the needs of the families we serve and find innovative ways to ensure their sustained health and well-being. A growing youth-led movement focused on direct action and advocacy, Nourish America works to achieve a more equitable society by ending hunger for all.
Our work
Nourish America, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing organic, nutritious, and allergy-friendly food to families in need. We host food drives and fundraisers to provide under-resourced communities in 4 states across the U.S. with healthy and allergy-safe foods.
Nourish America has partnered with food banks to provide organic and allergy-friendly meals to communities in need, and has fundraised $12.8K to support the nationwide fight against food insecurity. From hosting the Notes for Nourish benefit concert fundraisers to launching anti-hunger advocacy campaigns on social media, we prioritize building a movement of young people passionate about building a world free of food insecurity.
